Hi everyone. I am hoping you can help me. I am a student working on a digitization project. For this project we are tasked with digitizing cassette tapes.

Would you recommend MuLab as a software to use for digitizing cassette tapes?

What is the bit rate and sample depth of MuLab?

Does MuLab create BWF - broadcast wave format files?

Would MuLab run on a Mac OSX 10.8.2 with 2 GB of RAM?

Thank you in advance for your replies!

if you're familiar with it, then yeah, why not.
What is the bit rate and sample depth of MuLab?
that would be your decision

Try the Mulab demo ... or try Audacity or Wavasaur.

I use Wavelab for this stuff.

Why specificly Broadcast WAV? I can't imagine the extra metadata in that is essential if all you want to do is make MP3 or audio CD's with what was on the cassette...
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated. Image
