Hello guys
I need a wav -> mp3 batch converter where you could just set an output format (bitrate/samplerate) and drop files on some area for instant convertion.
See I want to convert a 600mb sample collection into 190kbps mp3s, but they are too much files and folders to do this manually.
BTW did you noticed this tool?
WaveMp3 (disguise tool)

I don't know if this is what your looking for, but I use "dBpower AMP Music Converter". I can't remember where I got it.
Hope that helps.

Winlame is good for that, though I don't know if it will accept directories, but it's worth a shot.

My vote goes to DB Power Amp. It is small, simple, and very fast.

Try this one: dBpowerAmp Music Converter It's good and free.
I used it a number of times to much satisfaction.

(Edit: Wow, so many reactions within ten minutes. Next time I'll wait for a moment to avoid double-, tripple- or quadruple posts

The more I hang around at KVR the less music I make.

RazorLAME is my favorite for batch encoding (dbPowerAmp is good, too... just modestly less convenient for batches).

I used to use this one. You can select a group and convert to mp3 in a certain folder.

Just FYI
I'm using dB poweramp to coonvert those samples that aren't loops and/or are already LoFi to mp3s, then use WaveMp3 to disguise them as *.wav so any app can import it (FL Studio in my case, doesn't support mp3s)
600mb went to 200mb in one folder, not bad at all huh? Same for those project SAM big samples and my "Sound Ideas" library which is too big to have it as wavs.
Cheers
