this is what it looks like in tracktion. It lets you see the parameter labels, so you know what function the inputs/outputs serve. In bidule, it places this info in the lower left corner.
I can't tell you how much I'd love to see this stuff work in eXT. Actually, it does work in eXT... but people won't be able to figure out what should connect to what.
man, if you could make this a reality... I'd go absolutely nutz!
It would bring low level functions you see in hosts like bidule to eXT! There is only one other aspect which would need rethinking... there would be a need for a savable settings option which could make all inputs/outputs default to unlinked. Alot of these comps have odd numbers of inputs and outputs.Is there any possibility of this in the near future?
