I'm looking for a free match eq that isn't a bear on my processor.
Currently, I'm using Equivocate but it's consuming my CPU like crazy.

I have an experimental fix for those who are having this problem with EQuivocate. PM me if you want to check out the installer before it goes live.

Equivocate is IMHO the most trasparent matching eq out there. Not capable of narrow filtering but the best for gentle shaping of audio material.
There is also a free match eq JS script for Reaper, just look around for the link.

Yeah this will be the only one I’m aware of that’s free, unless you have Logic. I don’t know bout the other DAWs however.DGillespie wrote:I have an experimental fix for those who are having this problem with EQuivocate. PM me if you want to check out the installer before it goes live.
If you’re quick though, you might be able to catch something on sale for a super good price. That’s not free though

I see you're new here. It's never a good idea to dig up a five year old question and try to answer it since the person asking has either long since found a solution or long since moved on.
The person who asked the question hasn't been back to KVR since December of last year.
