Big Goat is an analog modeled simulation of one of the greatest fuzzbox ever made in the mid ‘70s and used in countless records.
The signal passes through 4 cascaded amplifier stages, where 2 of them are clipping stages. The result is a sustained fuzz, very rich in harmonics, with a unique tone.

Blue Face is an analog modeled simulation of a classic BC108 silicon vintage fuzz pedal made in the late ‘60s. This is one of the best known fuzz pedals ever made, used to fully blast amplifiers tube stages.
We modified the original circuit to get more bite even at minimum settings.

Distortion 1 is an analog modeled simulation of an iconic distortion stompbox introduced in the late ‘70s and behind the signature sound of many guitar legends. This is one of the best known (and modified) distortion pedals ever made.

PLEASE NOTE: The extra space you see on the left side of the GUI will be used in the future updates to include some goodies

Nice! It will be interesting how they compare against their equivalents at Distorque Audio (which are free and a few years older)
No band limits, aliasing is the noise of freedom!

I just purchased the Big Goat. Its one of the richest sounding distortion I have heard.
Great tonality, and nice sounding harmonics.
Obviously the rich sound taxes the CPU - I compared it to some other distortion/fuzz plugins, including the Distorque Face Bender and Plusdistortion, Waves GTR stomp distortions, and Fabfilter Saturn.
Audiority BIg Goat uses about 4 times more CPU than any of the previous.
A very nice sounding combination is to put Audiority Echoes T7E and after that the Big Goat.
You really get a vintage analog sound, full of character (plus all the authentic sounding hisses and rattles).

These sound pretty nice!
Unfortunately, I'm getting weird artifacts with Distortion 1 after an input signal stops. It also completely "blows up" and starts to self oscillate sometimes. I've been able to reproduce this reliably. Below is a spectrogram showing both problems. The top is the output from Distortion 1. The bottom is the input signal, naively boosted about 100x to demonstrate that there is nothing buried in the original signal. The clicks/noise bursts are clearly visible in the graph. At the end you can see it start to self oscillate. If I leave it alone, it never seems to stop ringing.
I also get some odd stuff with Blue Face too. Clicks and a strong DC component when there is no input. Not as big a deal in this case because they are not audible, but still weird. Spectrogram below, same setup as above.
Win10 x64, x64 VST, FLStudio x64 v12.5.1, demo versions of the plugins.

Thank you all, guys!
@Dozius: please, can you get in touch with me via email? I want to reproduce these issues.
Thanks,
Luca

Unfortunately not, sorry! What these pedals have in common is that there are a LOT of variations and modifications to the original circuit. I want to test some of them on my pedals first and, then, select the one I like the most to be placed in that left space as icons.

Luca

You may want to notice, that the Big Goat already has to some degree boost and Eq built in:Dullee wrote:Like a boost, EQ goodies? The extra space you see on the left side of the GUI will be used in the future updates to include some goodies
by tweaking the sustain, tone, volume and in/out/mix knobs, you can get a rather wide variaton of colors out of the plugin.

I was thinking in terms of Colorsound Powerboost and Boss GE-7 or alike. David used these to a great extent when tweaking his drive tones.
But circuit variations would be a more interesting feature indeed.
Sovtek mode to Big Goat and maybe germanium mode to Blue Face (making it Red Face? ).

Well, tried the two fuzz-related nuggets ..... Like what I hear. Big Goat seems really adjustable and flexible. The mod idea sounds cool.
However, on the right side, there seems to be as much space as on the left side - anything planned for there? The in/out/mix - great that they are there - they look quite cute and unobtrusive - but easy readout could be better and there seems to be some space there ....
great pedals ...
