Hi Jorgen

Im really curious about your sampler and have a few questions...

What modulation options will the sampler have and will sample start and direction be on there?

Will it have send and returns so that I can use other plugins for filters and effects or route an envelope to act as an LFO?

Will it be able to sample? (Please say yes

)

I cant figure out how to use the sampler. I can drag samples to the firt box but thats about it. Is it supposed to be there?

You can do more than that...but it's not all there right now...jorgen sometimes forgets to remove the menu item.

Try this...

drag a wav into the left box...

double click in the top center box...you will see "sound"

right click "sound" and choose "test"...you will see "name of wav" created in the top right box.

select "name of wav" and enable the filter...and play.

note...the small box in the center is the Unison # of voices setting.

Hi Benidict 'n NicFit

No im not her/him. I really loved the Loki chariter in Dogma so I took the name when I registered here. Loki was registerd so I took Lowkey. When I fanally pluck up the corage to reliese any of my work I think I'll go with either of them

I downloaded Short Circuit just to play with it before I went to bed (I live in England but I suffer from insomnia) and after a few hours playing with it. This is the sampler I would make if I could program

Everything can be modulated by everything. Its a sound designers dream come true! 30 modulation slots and even more modulation sources and destinations!!! The interface is very straight forward even for me. Thank you for the tip off Benedict

Thank you NicFit. I was really confuised about this because the feature list didnt say the sampler was on it and the interface looked blank. Thank you again for helping on what to do to get a preview of this. It does look pretty promising especially the fact that the middle collum says "sound" when you load a sample in. I wounder what Jorgen is up to there? The whole of EnergyXT feels (to me) like it was made for samplers which is why I love it so much.

Yep, I think its time I go on a sound safari with my MD recorder

lowkey, you can use VST sends and insert fx on any level of the sound structure in the sampler...

Wow, that sounds very interesting indeed!
assuming 'levels of sound structure' mean what I think it does? Do you mean layers?

assuming 'levels of sound structure' mean what I think it does? Do you mean layers?

Instead of like one or two oscillators, you can make a sound tree mulitple levels deep. Each node in the can...doh this is really hard to explain...will post screenshot new beta with sampler soon...working on the sampler now!

Does that include Ext itself because if it does its pretty much going to make this the most insane sampler out there

but of course...
