...not sawstudio , but sawplus32 , the pre-pre-version (saw,sawplus,sawplus32,sawpro,sawstudio) i left,
with much pain , long ago , it was extremly fast , not unlike hardware daws (fairlight) at this time ( mid till end 90is),
till now , even with digital video , a reference for "snappiness" for me.
and very clever programmed and with proper hardware you had direct audio- videohardware access and stuff like VITC , which was important this time.
Mostly the lack of OMF support and rs422 ( i work in post where you have to comunicate mostly with Pro tools)
made me switch to nuendo and then fast to Pro Tools.
BTW the horrible wodden layout was introduced with sawstudio , earlier versions where much more "technical"looking ,
but the fonts,,,,,

It was too cheap for me. Bought a hardware studio for $100.000, and never looked back since then.
