When you load a Vst, in the file-menu you have
-Load Fxb
- Save Fxb
-...

There is allso a rename, to rename a preset.

But I didn't find how to add a preset ?

- It all depends on your VST(i), but, in general:

- in the eXT VST wrapper, pick a spare preset slot
- on the VST, adjust your controls as you want
- these values will then be associated with the selected preset
- in the eXt VST wrapper, save the FXB file

Only problem is that I could not find a way to rename the new preset. IS ther one in eXT? But I could rename it in other hosts eg muzys).

I knew you would answer, Simon :)

Hmm, I understand your answer, but does that mean that if the VST doesn't have a spare slot, you can't add any?

And in Ext, when you edit a vst and then you go to the ext-file menu of the VST you opened you have a rename option wich (I think) renames the actif preset.

AFAIK, the eXT VST wrapper shows all the available preset slots, so no you could not add one. All I can suggest is that you pick one that you do not want or do not like and use that.

As for the Rename-- yes I was talking rubbish  , of course, the Rename is used to change the name of the preset to whatever you want.

you can also save a bank to a new preset bank file (*.fxb) and then change/rename its existing presets successively and you have your own selfmade bank ;)

(to jorgen: maybe as a future FR : a button/menu option to save a blank preset bank would come in handy !)

Thanks.

An option to add a preset would cerainly be handy !

The total number of presets available is determined by the plugin, not the host, so I do not know if it is possible to add presets. There are even some plugins which only has 1 preset.
