Is there anyone here who wants to talk about Lie, the software for Touché (SE)?
It's about problems, new presets and tips and tricks.

I spotted the lie: the correct spelling is "Lié"

Everything from Expressive E is a lie.
5 years ago they said the Arché Collection was being rebuilt from the ground up to fix its horrible phase issues and support VST3.
But there hasn’t been a single update since.

I've been having ongoing issues (it won't update its firmware) with my Touche and my last response from support took a week and said, "we haven't seen that issue with the Osmose, we suggest you go to your shop and exchange it." I'll never buy anything from Expressive E again. I feel bad for people who bought the Osmose, as I suspect it will be plagued with problems that they'll never resolve.jamcat wrote: Tue Jan 30, 2024 6:44 pm Everything from Expressive E is a lie.

Maybe they're talking about all the lies Expressive E tells to their customers, like, "We're working on putting MPE into Noisy, so it should be soon." This lie prompted me to buy it, and the MPE support never materialized, which is really weird because you'd think that having an MPE instrument to sell when they now make an MPE hardware synth would be a good business move.

I didn´t expect this thread is becoming a rant thread.
The linguistic proximity to an English term is appealing, but has absolutely nothing to do with my experience. Of course there are many question marks about Lié, but calling the whole company liars does not do justice to either the Touché controller or the Lié software. Both are good tools and Touché is without question an extraordinary tool. I have had a lot of fun and inspiration with it, but I also recognise its shortcomings. There is always room for improvement.
I was more interested here in having a sensible and mature exchange about software and hardware. If you just want to express your disappointment, you should go to Expressive E, that's where it belongs.
However, I am interested in presets that go beyond what is offered on their website. If there are even people here who have looked into it.

My experience with Expressiveé was a good one. Had a malfunctioning Touché and it was replaced easily… Working flawless since then.
Their software isn‘t quite up as the hardware, but still decent. I stopped buying software on promises anyway. If they do it, there will always be also a sale…
As their physical instruments are based on AAS, there is no need to get it…
The Lié is as well just another host. To get the same control I don‘t need it, but would have to make my own modulations and Midi mappings in Bitwig, which fits much better anyway, especially if you do own a MPE controller…
