Hi,

Still learning Pigments, I'm editing this preset and don't really understand why is there this yellow stuff next to "release", I don't seem to have anything modulating it?

Thanks

The release time is being modulated by one of the LFOs. However, the degree to which it's being modulated appears (from your helpful screenshot) to be 0.000 from all three LFOs. So whichever LFO is modulating it isn't doing anything.

I imagine you could experiment with the LFOs to see which one modulates it the best, though.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

But when I click on release there isn't anything modulating it, disabling all LFO's also doesn't help.

As you can see there is 1 nothing modulating it, which I remove in second screenshot.

No, I got that. You need to raise the effect level of the LFO modulator to hear what might happen, not the release nor the LFO.

Basically, what Pigments is telling you is "release is affected by the LFO (yellow indicator), but the amount of the effect is nothing (0.000)."

To hear it, you need to raise the modulation level from 0.000 to something quite a bit higher.

I don't know which preset you're looking at, but there's always the possibility the programmer turned that off and forgot to remove the modulation assignment.

That's weird because I have never noticed it before.
And I see it happen with most presets I'm browsing now.

When I remove any modulation I shouldn't see that yellow bar, this is how it always was, or wasn't it?

When double clicking on modulation it's set to 0 and should dissapear. :borg: :borg:

The yellow thingy is a a "Sound Design Tips" I think. You can deactivate it from the top right corner. It's the preset's sound designer suggesting you to turn the knob with yellow line for interesting results

Just wanna say i love the Pigments modulation system!
