any singer here who’d like to sing on a song inspired by thom yorke’s (radiohead) solo style?

i’m looking for a singer who obviously has a good voice, but also has access to record decent vocals with a decent microphone.
the song has an electronic style inspired by artists like thom yorke (radiohead) or james blake.
in my head, i picture a singer using a head voice or falsetto, similar to the singers i mentioned before. with that melancholic, haunting, ghostly vibe in the voice.
free collab
hit me up to send u the instrumental demo.
references of what i am looking for and the similar style of my production:

Be aware of the fact that wagtunes uses AI for the voice. It is a shame he didn't mention it. What a scam!enjoythesilence7 wrote: Sun Feb 01, 2026 2:48 am i’m looking for a singer who obviously has a good voice, but also has access to record decent vocals with a decent microphone.

Good luck finding a singer. You'll need it.

You admitted in a post that you use ai to transfer your voice into a different voice after I asked.
I mean, whenever whatever AI plugins are used it should be told, otherwise it is like offering handmade tables han and with natural products only, although it is just mass production in a factory hall made of plastic that imitates wood.

All that aside, I wish the OP luck in finding somebody willing to sing this with a decent enough voice who isn't going to charge an arm and a leg whereas I was going to do it out of the kindness of my heart and it will still sound better than 99% of the stuff submitted here.DCrown wrote: Sun Feb 01, 2026 2:24 pm You admitted in a post that you use ai to transfer your voice into a different voice after I asked.

And FWIW, you have no idea what's involved in getting even an AI vocal performance to sound good. You think it just happens because it's AI? You don't have a clue.

Does it sound good with AI? It can only sound artificial and my ears are still good, I mean how else than artificial will it sound when artificial intelligence is applied.
A natural voice is the centre and soul of a song, the rest just ornaments.Yes there are vocals with robot effects etc on a natural voice and they work, but if it was applied every time on a song, it would get boring and annoying just like autotune (best example!). I mean, I imagine how a guitar player would use autotune to correct, either you can play a guitar or you play something again if there is a mistake, that's how it usually works. But there are singers who can not sing and apply autotune and you can hear it, they are no singers, autontune as a correction tool and effect completely overused, a lot of people hate it now
Imagine every song had a guitar with a wah effect, terrible!
I hope you play your guitar synth by your own on a keyboard and do not just add pre-made stuff, I mean you can do whatever you want, but if you don't, it just would be kinda strange to me, well, I have a different approach to music, that's all
I don't care whether the next generations will accept AI vocals and complete AI productions, they can do whatever they want, as long as I am alive I will stay away from AI products.
Bach is turning over in the grave.

Like I said, you don't have a clue. If I had never revealed that I used AI vocals NOBODY would be able to tell. Because the AI vocals still use my phrasing, my inflections, my breathing, everything except the actual timber of the vocal. I could use the same AI singer and sing the song 2 completely different ways and each version would sound completely different.DCrown wrote: Mon Feb 02, 2026 5:55 am Does it sound good with AI? And news flash. You talk about THIS generation? I'm probably older than YOU are. You're nothing but a sanctimonious narrow minded ignorant idiot.
You think I give a crap what YOU think of my vocals?
Think again.

I think it’s not just fair to disclose when something isn’t performed by a real human, it’s basic intellectual honesty. The moment you hide that and then justify it with “nobody can tell”, you’re no longer talking about art, you’re talking about deception. And the fact that you need to attack people personally to defend that position says far more about your insecurity than about anyone else’s ignorance.
Think about it.
Think about it.

Normal people (i.e, non musicians) don't care if songs are sung by a human or a synthesized voice of a human. They don't care if you played all the instruments or not. Get over yourselves. Nobody cares about your stupid little hobby or mine for that matter. It's not that important in the great scheme of things.

This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

It does because of four british and two american accents blended together in a weird way no human would be able to pull off. The performance itself is also strangely liveless. I can clearly tell that you edited everything to mask the other usual artifacts with this weird pseudo-overdubbing which is too close to a chorus effect. Keeping the timing off-beat was a good idea but it should be done subtle, not as much as you did. There's plenty of room for improvement if you want to fool everyone.

Then you know what? We should all do that with every little thing we do musically.enCiphered wrote: Mon Feb 02, 2026 10:42 am I think it’s not just fair to disclose when something isn’t performed by a real human, it’s basic intellectual honesty. Those drums? What vst did you use. Did you play them with a controller. keyboard or what? You're not fooling anybody into thinking they're real drums.
That symphony orchestra. LOL. Yeah, right. You went out and hired the Boston Pops.
Oh, and that guitar solo? Did you REALLY play that? Is that even a real guitar or is it a virtual guitar.
Your "human" vocals? Did you REALLY sing them that well or did you autotune them to death.
You're all just a bunch of hypocrites.
I can play that game too. Except I don't. I don't judge people on the way they put their music together. I judge the music itself. Does it sound good? Did I enjoy listening to it?
You want to criticize my use of AI vocals? Fine. Do you really think I care? I'm earning royalties for the first time because people don't have to put up with my wretched singing voice anymore.
So go ahead and criticize. I'm laughing all the way to the bank.

Let me ask you all a question. You have a problem with my using an AI vocal because why? Because it's not a real human? Um it actually is. It's a real person's voice that through AI technology they insert the lyrics. That's essentially it.
But that aside, would you have a problem with my hiring that same singer to come to my house and sing my song, if I could do that? It would sound almost exactly the same. So why would that be okay? Because it would cost me money? Because it would require more time?
If you ask me, I think this whole dumping on AI vocals is sour grapes. Okay, I'm not talking about somebody typing lyrics into a text box and telling some site to spit back a song. I have zero respect for these people. They're not doing anything creative at all.
But AI vocals? Are you kidding me? It's the same amount of work as doing the whole song yourself PLUS you have to make sure your original vocal is goof enough so that the AI vocal sounds good. Ever hear an AI vocal made from somebody singing off key? It's not pretty.
Again, this is all just sour grapes.
