Does anyone else have any experience with this?

I have a project with a drum part created using UJAM's Beatmaker plug in, specifically the Nemesis kit. I like their stuff because it sounds great, even if every GUI is awful (which, if that was the only issue, i'd be fine with).

Came to work on it some more and the drum part isn't playing. I open the track and find the Beatmaker hasn't loaded properly. I try to remove it, Reaper crashes. No matter how I approach this, any attempt to remove the vst including deleting the track wholesale crashes the DAW.

The only solution is the leave those parts in, move the midi data to new tracks and load Beatmaker again (and hope the same problem doesn't happen).

This seems pretty serious to me. Is this a known bug? If it can't be fixed I'm going to have to ask for a £££ refund. Thanks

All I know is that ever since they introduced the all in one Beatmaker wrapper it's been buggy and pretty much unusable for me in Cubase. I reported it also. In the meantime I'm using the previous versions of the Beatmakers that were separate plugins and those work fine.

It is truly ridiculous that they haven't released a stable 3.1 update by now. I guess they're saving it for Beatmaker 4 and we will continue to just see kit variations that they can monetize.

This has really put me off of UJAM.

I know what you mean. There stuff sounds great but the GUI's are rubbish, and now this. I can't use Beatmaker if this is going to be a thing. If they can't fix this, i think i should get my money back

Ujam Delay FX crashes Reaper as well (on Windows 10) whenever I close a project in which I loaded it up.
The only way to fix it is to reinstall it whenever this starts to happen, after a fresh install the issue disappears for some, but after few times it starts happening again, go figure...

I really don't want to have to resinstall every five minutes because their plugins aren't stable. Really, it's not acceptable. This isn't an issue for any other plug in

They did get back to me. The advice was to reinstall. Which has solved the issue. Hopefully permanently. We shall see
