"Dare Me To Forgive" - this week's feature track is a thumper written in Locrian mode, so it appears to change keys every time it changes chords. Not many songs feature this mode, and very few stay in the mode for the full time, but it's not that difficult to do. Hope you enjoy it.
What key would you put it in?

"Days" - this song uses overlapping and repeating vocal parts. It's about that one person in your life that you've spent so much time with that days seem like only minutes, and minutes seem like days.
The challenge here was writing the parts so that, as they overlap, they line up harmonically with each other to avoid clashing. Let me know what you think of this one.
Thanks to all of you who have been listening! I'm delighted to see folks not only checking out the week's featured song, but exploring some of my older material as well.

"Get the Feeling" is this week's featured track. Upbeat with an 80s rock feel, this song is about a sneaking suspicion that a relationship is not going at all well. But it's not a depressing vibe; it's more of a relief. Let me know what you think!

This week's spotlight is "Giddyup!" A fun rock and roll number that celebrates a guy who just cannot keep up with a high-energy girl. Turn this one up and let me know what you think.

This week, I present "In the Looking Glass," which rips into people with a false sense of self. This one is experimental for me, using a more Italo Disco feel.
Why? Well, this song contains a musical secret. Halfway through, the song reverses itself. I needed to find a beat that could do that and still work well...and a vintage Italo beat seemed to work. I also had to figure out a chord structure and melody that worked in either direction. So it was a challenge, and I hope you enjoy the result.

Listening to "Leave This Place With Me," in which the singer makes a compelling argument that the subject's boyfriend is an obnoxious twerp, and she could do a lot better. Some nice arpeggios and arrangement make this an easy and fun song to listen to.
Enjoy it!

"All our lives": A lovely electronic track with a light groove and languid,
relaxed vocals — a bit like Kraftwerk in the 70s.
Overall: Very relaxing, atmospherically expansive, pleasant to listen to!
