More of a happier vibe than is my default, but I was writing it specifically for the singer in our band in the early 90s. Please like and share, and ask me anything.

I had to change the video due to Sony having a problem with using their AI slop, so I made some AI slop of my own.

Yeah, that's Synthesizer V. I wrote the song for a woman who was our singer, but there's no way that I could sing that anyway.

well im impressed how far they've come.
even if id prefer they didn't exist, but i understand how hard it can be to find a vocalist, especially now we're not 20 odd and doing the clubs n stuff we did back then to meet other musicians....

Yeah, the woman who was in our band at the time I wrote that was a pretty good vocalist, but more importantly, she was a local socialite and brought out a lot of people to our gigs. I've tried to find collaborators, but most people want to do their own music, which is understandable. We lost that vocalist because she wanted to do her music, which was sort of like Grateful Dead music for children.

Thanks. When I first started showing the song to my band, the drummer was all, “you’re going in and out of 7/4 and 4/4,” and I had to consider it, because I don’t really think about that kind of thing when I’m writing. I write a lot of stuff in odd time signatures. It just feels natural.

The Indian influence? Definitely from the Beatles. Love To You is one of my favorites. I need to get a sitar at some point, so I can suck at a new instrument!
