$149 upgrade price here from Vintage Vault 4. Makes no sense to me. Should have been $48 if priced proportionally based on 7 new products in a bundle of 43.

No special upgrade for me either as yet ..... I have Sonic Bundle (which includes Vintage Vault 4) but showing a 'limited time offer' of 299 for me

€79 upgrade price for me but I have everything included except the new Casio one and PX Guitar Syn. I think it might take a while for the proper upgrade prices to kick in for some people.
I'm curious how the new Casio synths overlap with the older Cameo collection.
They should really upgrade the UI of some of the oldest libraries, they are blurry as hell when resized.

Upgrade price is $200, what a joke. I thought UVI was one of the good guys but I guess they're no different than a lot of the other greedy software companies. Sad to see honestly.

Joke? They put 15-ish new instruments in there so about $13 per for that $200. Pretty damn good deal to me and nothing greedy about it. Do you think the work to create these things is done for free? So tired of these types of comments.

It’s good of you to be offended on behalf of a corporation, but if you were a customer who owned a previous version of VV, and were seeing pricing that disadvantaged you compared to someone who had never spent a dime with UVI, perhaps you might see another side to the value equation. I think it’s fair to call out this kind of pricing. Existing customers should receive pricing as good or better than new customers if companies want to receive the benefit of positive sentiment among their customers. If they make enough money from new customers to disregard negative sentiment from existing customers, the company doesn’t need you to defend them.

I remember reading gripes about upgrade pricing when I bought in to VV4. Now it’s me griping. But I’m ok letting my feelings be known and not upgrading. Just because an offer is made doesn’t mean it must be accepted gratefully. I like to support companies making these kind of instruments and spend way too much money on this stuff, but I also have a keen sense of fairness and value for money. I’d also like to think that the people who decide on this kind of upgrade pricing might be open to feedback.

UVI doesn't owe you or anyone else anything. If you want to confuse that reality with me "defending a corporation" that's your problem, not mine. Apparently in your version of reality companies that are purchasing hardware, restoring that hardware if required, then spending time creating patches and doing extensive sampling should just give it away? That would be pretty sweet wouldn't it? If there wasn't such a thing as bills or salaries to pay? By your calculation u-He is an evil, greedy corporation too because they're charging new customers and existing customers the same price for Zebra 3 if those existing customers didn't happen to get in on the special pricing years ago.

Maybe they are open to feedback. But I expect that if I were one of those folks and I read someone on a forum say:

"I thought UVI was one of the good guys but I guess they're no different than a lot of the other greedy software companies."

I'd likely not pay any attention. It's not the feedback itself, it's how it's given.

And yes, one can always choose to not buy. Or to wait for the inevitable sales that they always have.

doesnt wow me anymore, Rompler are getting boring? how many of these wants UVI to release, even no random function or whatever, it would be interesting to see 1 UI which can combine all their romplers.

I read earlier about someone who only owns two Vintage Vault inclusions, and obtained both of them for free, and their upgrade price is $199. My Vintage Vault 4 purchase apparently entitles me to a $50 discount over just having some free giveaway products. C'est la vie!

I don't think the web site is working correctly, I have Sonic Bundle and I am not getting any kind of discount/upgrade offer, it will no doubt be fixed soon.
