Their webiste says it is possible:
"Unleash raw sonic energy with 32 wavetables (plus user import),"
but I cant find anything in the manuals or by doing a search.
Does anyone know how to do this? I tried copying a wav wavetable from pigments into the wavetables folder (which is full of raw files) which didnt work but I dont know how to convert the wav wavetables in raw files or if there is a special formatting required.

There is no user wavetable import. At least, it's not officially supported.

Go here and get the Python Script called Wavetabula.

https://github.com/dcower/mf-utils/tree/master

If you are unfamiliar with Python you can follow these instructions for Windows

https://docs.python.org/3/faq/windows.html

Alternatively you can use a program called PyInstaller to turn python scripts into Windows executables

https://pyinstaller.org/en/stable/index.html

That will allow you to convert Wavetables in 16 bit WAV format into the .raw12b format the plugin looks for

Once you have it converted place it in the same folders as the rest. In Windows that would be here

\ProgramData\Arturia\Samples\MiniFreak V\Factory\WT\.

Once you restart the plugin it will load along with the factory content

I would assume the Mac version would work similarly but I have no experience with that

Thanks for the replies. I guess the website isnt right then.

That is weird - it does mention import on the site for both samples and wavetables. There is also a post on the MiniFreak forum from a few hours ago asking the same thing. I would have thought there would be more questions about this, unless it is an impending update??

Odd that the Microfreak can using Arturia's software (midi control center?), and not the minifreak.
