Help recreating Gabber kick in Vital

I'm looking to recreate a specific hardcore gabber kick sound in Vital. A clear example can be heard at 0:42 in the following track:

My assumption is that the sound is built on a 909 sample with heavy clipping and/or saturation applied, though my attempts have not yielded satisfying results, as the output consistently sounds too flat compared to the reference.

If anyone has experience with this type of sound design, I would greatly appreciate a starter patch in Vital along with an explanation of the processing chain and key parameters involved.
