hi, so I installed the latest Pigments version on my notebook which i use to test new versions and light weighted music projects. on my main rig i still use Pigments 1 or 2.
so I loaded some projects and it shows they are missing samples in granular mode, Pigments is great for showing which I used, good!
e.g.
C:/ProgramData/Arturia/Samples/Pigments/G:/Audio Samples/Black Octopus/Deep Pad.wav
what is confusing me is I copied this folder on my USB drive and gave it the same letter G: and the same path but Pigments still cannot find it, so i need to REIMPORT, i see the path above
->C:/ProgramData/Arturia/Samples/Pigments/
does it mean when I drag and drop a sample into Pigments it copies it or saves an info to this path?
when i use other vsts and samplers and a file isnt found it only checks this path
G:/Audio Samples/Black Octopus/Deep Pad.wav
and not this
C:/ProgramData/Arturia/Samples/Pigments/G:/Audio Samples/Black Octopus/Deep Pad.wav
i dont get it.... does someone know? Pigments should find the sample while loading the project if the sample is on G:...... and not look on C:????
Pigments -> does it copy drag and dropped samples? No other way?
