Hey everyone, i made a plugin to help generate ideas. Just £8/$8!!!
Here's the blurb and some links, i made it cheap and genuinely think it's useful.

ChordPumperPro is a chord progression generator plugin that helps you break out of creative ruts and discover fresh harmonic ideas — fast.

Whether you're sketching out a track, looking for that perfect progression, or just exploring new musical territory, ChordPumperPro gets you moving. Drop it into your DAW and play around and experiment!

Always on record from your very first note. Save any midi played + generated with one click.

What you get with this FULL Edition:

Complete, unrestricted access to every feature forever!

Use anywhere you are the owner, use on any platform, any computer as many installs as you like.

Tested on:

Works in most DAW's that supports VST3, AU, or CLAP

Arch Linux (Bitwig, Reaper) (VST3, CLAP)

MacOS (Ableton Live 12, Logic Pro, Reaper, Bitwig) (VST3, CLAP, AU)

Windows (Ableton Live 12, Reaper) (VST3, CLAP)

I'd be grateful for any feedback anyone who uses the trial version wished to provide.

No Windows version in version 1.0? There was only a Linux and Mac version in the file.

Gave the demo a quick go (using v 0.1). One thing I noticed is that when using the arpeggio, if you change notes, or chords, there is a pause/hesitation where it resets to play the new notes from the beginning, whereas most arpeggiators keep going and update the notes to be played as they go without interrupting their tempo. Maybe it's been resolved in the newer updates or is a limitation of the demo. The strum feature could be useful but I haven't tested it yet.

Anyway, just gave it a quick try just to try it, I have a ton of sequencers which is more my thing.

Yes sorry, not many features missing. Coming this weekend, early next week for sure!
I'll look into it. Thanks for the feedback, i'll add a switch to change the arp behaviour you suggest.
Will be out by the time the 7-day trial ends.

Ok, V1 for Windows is released, VST3 for now. CLAP to follow. :D

It's a good idea but I find it a little opaque in use.

One issue is that a lot of people use more limited range keyboards (25 key or 37 key) like the Arturia Keystep so they lack the range that the plugin needs.

A simple block chord chainer would be great.

Needs midi drag and drop.

Post

The block chord chaine idea sounds interesting.
Do you mean select only a few modifier keys to apply, not the whole octave?

What would make it less opaque?

I did try to midi drag and drop but couldn't get it to reliably work across the board and i don't have every DAW like Cubase for example, to test with.
Linux support was also another open book depending on x11/wayland.
I know you say needs midi drag and drop but thats the reason i ended up at the more utilitarian save prompt, keeping all things equal.

Thanks for the feedback and taking the time to use it.

I’d love to buy the tool, but it only accepts credit card payments. As I don’t have a credit card, that’s unfortunately out of the question. What a shame. PayPal would work.

Updated to v1.0.3 across all platforms.

Adds improved crash support and your requested Arp flow mode.

V1.1.1 Launched Across All Formats - Many, many, many improvements.

1. Scale Lock Rebuild (Phase 21) — Complete overhaul with four SAFE modes (Filter/Mute/Mix), plus three expressive modes: Spice (dissonance boost), Color (harmonic coloring), and
Drunk (bounded random walk for expressiveness).
2. Arp Chord Stab Pattern — New arpeggiator mode that plays the full chord as a single stab instead of cycling through individual notes.
3. Live Arp Pattern/Octave Updates — Pattern and Octave parameters can now be changed live while the arpeggiator is running without retriggering voices.
4. Voicing Re-voice on Inversion Change — When holding a chord, changing the voicing or inversion automatically re-voices the held notes to match the new inversion (RTG-03).
5. Sticky Inversion with Mod-bar Lock — Inversion parameter now works properly when mod-bar lock is engaged; unusable inversion levels are visually dimmed.
6. Automatable Dotted/Triplet Lanes — D/T automation parameters with host value labels and MEGA randomizer (header dice) for comprehensive rhythmic control.
7. Chicken-head Knobs & PILLED Theme — New rotary control design style (chicken-head) and updated PILLED theme with brighter default appearance.
8. Theme System Overhaul — Multiple new themes, brightness slider, role-based palette system, custom swatch color picker, white theme, and global theme persistence.
9. Knob Styles & Control Redesigns — Selectable knob styles, themeable dial colors, stable LCD display, header reflow, light-pool key press visuals, and fixed-width controls.
10. Brief-vibe (Perceptual Landmark Scale) — New detune mode with landmarks at 0/5/10/25/50/100/200 cents, 0-400 cent range, and drunk micro-drift for expressive per-note tuning via channel rotation.

There's a small theme bug in Windows version but 100% functional.

Would be grateful if anyone would have a look.

Thanks to those who have tried already, i hope it has been at the very least, useful!
