I'm back (after many years of absence from KVR). A new track.

I used to be a regular here for years, but life took a turn and I got out of music for a long time, focusing on writing novels. But the itch eventually returned, so I'm making music again.
Here's something I just did recently. It's a remake of an old track from back in the day that I was never quite happy with, so I redid it.

Welcome back. I like it a lot, but I felt like it was over too soon. It could use another part that leads back to the original theme.Lunatique wrote: Wed Jun 03, 2026 4:18 am I used to be a regular here for years, but life took a turn and I got out of music for a long time, focusing on writing novels. Welcome back!
Yes—the great thing is: you can actually combine writing texts and stories
with music. One could connect with the other—how would that be?
"End of the story...": After a swell of sound, a synth groove kicks in. The
instrumental still manages to convey an orchestral weight; it's set in a deep,
spacious soundscape. Just when you've gotten used to it, it's already over
— a shame.
Overall: Nicely done, but far too short!

Thanks! The track was originally composed as a cue for an unproduced short film, and as you all might know, cues are often quite short as they are only as long as the scenes need them to be. I did consider extending it, but for now, I'm not sure what direction I would take for the extended section(s).

Nice! I like how it combines electronic elements with classic orchestra instruments... I guess you could make passage with synths and drums stopping, leaving only the orchestra alone for a while, and then return back to the full arrangement.

Welcome back !
Very nice, I like it. I guess you can think about developing a more structured ending
The production quality is very good.
