https://github.com/Mixomo/EqAPO64_with_VST3_support
The original version hasn't been updated for more than a year (and the project itself is not very active).
There has been a fork for double precision support + a recent update a few months ago (equalizerAPO64), and another developer built a VST3 support on top of that.
I'm not related to the developer, but it'd be nice to hear any feedback, if any VST3 crashes on it, etc.
A new fork of Equalizer APO released (with native VST3 support)

I'm not sure how the VST3 support is going to work. From what I understand of the original EQ APO program, the whole reason they never updated in the first place had to do with the way it accessed the Windows Audio System. Instead of working like a wrapper or traditional host, EQ APO has kernel access and direct access to Windows Audio system. I might peep it though if I find some time.

Well, I'm not really a tech-oriented person and I have no idea, but it (the new fork) works well on my system with VST3.blockie710 wrote: Fri Jun 05, 2026 2:54 pm I'm not sure how the VST3 support is going to work.
