Hey all, I've released an iOS app aimed at musicians/engineers who want more than a standard player for checking their own work outside of the studio. Figured this crowd might find it useful. In short:
AudRig streams and caches your own audio files from Dropbox or iCloud Drive. It acts both as a classic player (folders works as playlists) but more importantly a tool for reviewing mixes properly.
The neat parts:
* A/B comparison with independent gain control per slot - compare up to three mix versions or references without level bias, switch instantly between them.
* Blind test mode - hides which is A, B and C, so you're going on ears only
* EQ per file - Save EQ settings per file, especially useful in A/B mode.
* Freq mode - filter playback to specific frequency ranges (lows, mids, highs) for focused listening
* Seamless loop verification - repeat mode that seeks within the loaded buffer rather than reloading the file, so you can actually hear whether your loop point is clean
* Mono fold and variable speed (pitch-preserved)
All premium features are available for a limited amount of uses, so you can try everything and see if the app is for you (9.99usd to unlock the premium app)
