Recently released saturation plugin from a new company. Do we need this?

It's basically a multiband saturator that also varies the left and right saturation, providing a bit of 'width' when used. I actually do a similar thing with a L/R splitter from time to time. Considering checking it out just as a workflow enhancement. Not cheap though, $109 intro, $200 on the reg - Yikes!

Anyone here tested it? Thoughts?

To be fair; an excellent plugin developer behind this one.

Looks good but tbh the early access price is too high, let alone the 'proper' one

I tried this last night. It's really good. I have embedded saturators into some fairly complex chains to mimic what this does. Probably going to buy this one before the intro pricing expires.

Have you made some Plugin Doctor testing before buying. :?

Yeah that price is surely alienating a lot of producers

The price is high but this isn't your run of the mill saturator, or even multi-band saturator. It's also doing dual-mono processing on 4 frequency bands with some randomization between the left and right channels.

You can replicate something like this in Khz Multipass or Metaplugin, but trust me it's a lot of setup and a real pain to work with. This is just way more usable, sounds great, plus you get better metering. IMO it's more of a specialized wideness/enhancement tool for 2-buss and mastering applications than just a tape/tube/transformer clone.
