I sampled the springs of the battery compartment of a toy electronic keyboard from the 1990’s.
Each of the 4 springs was recorded several times. Many samples have different articulations but some are similar to another one and they can be used as alternate sample (round robin or random) in a drum sampler to avoid/minimize the machine gun effect (when 1 sample is repeated quickly multiple times).

65 samples including 15 processed ones (49 MB total):

In the first part of this video, I am using Poly 2 circular sequencer (from James Milton) to play four samples from the pack, pitching down one of them in realtime. The 2 speech samples are from my Patreon Reward Pack 63 - The Fourth Slapstick Pack - Part 2.

In the second part, one sample is played at half speed in AUM file player and a second one is triggered on every step, thus cutting its release and creating a machine gun effect, in Hammerhead Rhythm Station. The big chord at 0:38 is an accordion sample and the third speech sample is from Reward Pack 41.
