Hey everyone,

Following up on my last post about Chord Flow — just released
Lush Frequencies, a Serum 2 preset bank built specifically for
R&B, Soul and Trap Soul producers.

100 handcrafted presets across 7 categories — pads, keys, leads,
bass, plucks, bells and synths. Covers everything from warm
vintage 70s Soul textures to modern, glossy R&B and Trap Soul
sounds.

Most Serum 2 presets out there are built for EDM or pop, so the
filter behaviour and modulation are tuned for brightness and
aggression. Lush Frequencies takes the opposite approach — warm
low-mids, controlled dynamics, smooth movement designed to sit
behind a vocal rather than compete with it.

Built for Serum 2 by Xfer Records specifically (not compatible
with the original Serum). Works in any DAW.

You can preview the sounds here:

Happy to answer any questions about the sound design approach
if anyone's curious.

I am.
Do you use modwheel? Aftertouch in the presets?
Thanks.
And I am so glad this is not yet another edm bank.

Yeah, I try to use a mix of both depending on the preset — mod
wheel for filter movement and brightness on pads/leads, and
aftertouch on some of the keys and bass patches for extra
expression when you hold a note. Wanted the presets to feel alive
and move rather than sit static, which matters a lot for R&B/Soul
where the texture itself carries a lot of the emotion.

And yeah, that was the whole point — wanted something that
actually sounds like it belongs in a Soul or Trap Soul session,
not just R&B-flavored EDM patches.

If you want to hear it before deciding anything, part of the bank
is available as a free demo:

option on the product page.

Appreciate the question, glad it stands out as something different.
