Found out about this from an email. Patreon exclusive apparently, until Aug. 17. I like the very last patch best.

So are Patreon memberships recurring or one time payments? I mean for $25 this thing is certainly worth it.

It’s a monthly subscription with recurring, automatic payments. FXFX Audio is offering this synth for free to their Patrons. And new Patreon members can get the synth when they subscribe at the $25 a month tier until August 17th. Their website says that there will be a public release in September, with a price of $89.

I really enjoy the sound of all their effects, and I figured that it was only a matter of time until they released a full-on synth. I haven’t tried it for myself yet, but I’m happy that they’ve made it a reality. They’re an awesome developer!

I got it. I'm currently clicking through presets and there's some nice ones in there. To me basically if you like their effects plugins it has a similar sonic character and operation. Lot of good bass preets so far, though some get a little samey and a lot aren't my style.

Certainly worth 25 bucks. I've yet to go through the pads, so I'm looking forward to that. I also like the layout of the gui, though the waveshaper at 16x os crushes my cpu, so prob. won't use that much.

I do feel mildly guilty about getting the 25$ a month tier then cancelling, but hey it's allowed and really I just wanted the synth like the softsynth collecting whore I am, excuse the expression.

I will say it's on the thinner sounding side. It also has no traditional effects that I can tell like reverb or delay, though there is an fx section, technically It does have that insane lfo capability like their fx plugins, so if you like a lot of movement in your patches, this has that in spades.

Running through the lead category or presets and I don't lke most of them, but then again I've never been much of a lead presets guy, and am very fickle with leads typically.

aaaand some nice pads. Did come across some decent leads, too. Overall I like it. Probably more as a niche/ backup synth really. At times I was doubtful, but it has a sweet spot after all.

I've yet to try it in a track, which is were rubber meets road really, so when I do I may be back to update my impression far as that goes.
