Hey everyone, I’ve just released Stellarizer, my new performance-to-pattern MIDI sequencer.
Instead of building sequences one step at a time, Stellarizer starts with a phrase you actually play. It captures the timing, contour, velocity, note length, and sustain gestures of your performance, then turns that material into a field of related patterns you can shape, audition, evolve, preserve, and drag back into your DAW.
It includes performance capture, quantization, key and scale controls, Scale Lock, six Shape controls, eight different Pattern roles, Near/Far/Deep Space discovery modes, pinning, rerolling, pattern evolution, automatic Recordings history, preset support, and MIDI drag-and-drop export.
Stellarizer generates MIDI rather than audio, so it is designed to drive your software instruments or hardware synths. It is available for Windows VST3, macOS VST3, and macOS MIDI FX AU for Logic Pro and MainStage.
For launch week, you can get 50% off with the code:
STELLARBETA
You can check it out here: https://s1gnsofl1fe.gumroad.com/l/stellarizer
I’d love to hear what kinds of performances and patterns you end up feeding into it.

A beautiful plugin - I went from annoyed (please, please get rid of the tip section on the pay screen) to elated. It took 2 minutes for me to go from peeved to a huge grin. Well done, very innovative.
Try a string ensemble preset with a simple 1 5 2 2 chord progression! Just play and smile!
