So with Santa coming soon, I'm in feature request mode now

The idea: A knuckle in the middle of each cable, pressing it accesses a menu with those little helpers, so you don't have to insert a new effect for very basic tasks all the time.

Awesome would be a setting to delay the stream in samples. [1]
Maybe also a gain setting (with enough headroom to boost low signals)... etc.

[1] A nice complement here would be a info table that lists all loaded plugins and their latencies.

Yes, but I'm not sure that would affect the gain.

I think that's a really good idea actually, you could double the 'knuckle' function to have the same graphic bezier curve function as the envelope track, so you could bend those cables into a neater looking affair. And double click to access a cable properties panel as suggested.

That'd be pretty nice.

It would be nice to be able to drop comps onto cables (on to the "knuckle") to have them inserted without having to repatch cables too.

Great ideas!

The ones that I really like are:

- The sample delay knuckle
- The Bezier function
- The "drop in between" function (this has potential to save some time)

I hadn't thought of this before - sounds like a really nice enhancement for the future!

You could do a similar thing with the midi cables, midi filter, channel switcher etc.
