I just got back from Borders where I listened to the new Steve Vai album. It' definately worth a listen. The songs and playing are quite tight, imaginative and actually restrained.

The new Tori Amos is very good also. It's called Bee keeper or something like that. Her stuff is really well produced.

Ever heard of Deve Premal? Hinhu mantras sung with excellent music and musicians. The "Embrace" albumn is very good with excellent production.
