FR and BR - importing and exporting MIDI Part presets

BR:
I can drag a MIDI Part preset into a MIDI Part comp.
But if I drag the same preset into a Sequencer MIDI Part Editor window, I get an "Unknown comp" message then an "Access violation at address 0043419F, reading address 0000006c" message. On clicking OK eXT terminates


FR1:
I can save the part from the MIDI Part comp window, but not from the Sequencer MIDI Part window
- could we have the File >> Save Part feature in the Sequencer MIDI Part window?


FR2:
If you "Save All" from the MIDI Part comp, all parts are saved and can be reloaded into another MIDI Part comp. If you drag this preset into a Sequencer track, you only get the first part imported.
- perhaps the other Parts in the preset should go onto new MIDI tracks?

And now, a question: What's the difference between a MIDI file and a single-part MIDI Part preset (apart from the filename extension)?
