BR - Sampler - Sample and Slice editing problems

To get to grips with the Sampler I was looking closely at a 1-bar sample with 4 16th notes, loaded in a Layer. And I ran into several things that make editing in the Sampler difficult.
[v1.3.0 does not have several of these problems]
Has anyone-else run into these issues?
Or can you confirm them?
Sample Start not displayed correctly
In the Start and End points pane:
- the Start waveform is not displayed correctly at some Zoom levels; in my case it looked like the Start(smp) pane was showing the waveform of the second note,
- when I click somewhere in the first note to set the Sample start point, it is not shown correctly in the Start (smp) pane, but it is OK if I click somewhere within the second note
- it looks like the zoom level affects where it goes wrong.
- there are similar problems when defining the looped section of the sample
- the "zero amplitude" line is not displayed in the upper (left?) audio channel;
- this all seems OK to me in v1.3.0
Slice Start position not displayed correctly
Next I inserted a second copy of the sample into a Slicer, and Auto-sliced it
- in the Slice Mapper, in the second pane that is labelled Start(smp) (which should be End(smp)) the slice is drawn with the correct end point
- but these panes suffer from the same display problems in the Start and End pane as described above
Start of first Slice not always at 0
Now, I tried different Slice thresholds:
at threshold = 38, I get 6 slices, but the first starts at position 25
at threshold 48, I get 4 slices, with the first starting at 25
at threshold 50, I get 4 slices, with the first starting at 614
at threshold 60 I get 2 slices, with the first starting at 22074
In each case, the section in front of the first slice is not accessible (but i can set the Start point to 0 to get to it).
[problems in v1.3.0 too]
Surely the first slice should always start at position 0, shouldn't it?
Slice end points shown wrongly
So I set the threshold to 60, auto-sliced and start of the first slice to 0,
- in the Slice Mapper, the Start position waveform is not drawn correctly, it seems to have the same problems as in the Start and End Points pane [OK in v1.3.0]
- in the Start and End points, the numeric value for the End point for the slices is not correct , all slices are shown and drawn with an End point of 88199 (this is the end of the sample) [this is a problem in v1.3.0 and earlier too]
- the slice is highlighted in the Slice Mapper sample but not in the Start and End Points sample pane [a problem in v1.3.0 too]
- in the Slice Mapper, if I click the start and end waveform Zoom out buttons [-] twice I can see the waveform, but it is clearly not the waveform of the slice - it looks like the second slice to me [this looks OK in v1.3.0]
Slice Mapper Start and End panes not correct
I then set the slice threshold to 56, and changed the start of the first slice from 614 to 0.
I selected the second slice and clicked in the two lower panes in the Slice Mapper to set the start and end points of the slice:
- the Slice Mapper sample pane is updated,
- but the 2 lower panes (the ones in which i clicked!) are not [this is OK in v1.3.0]
- the Start and End points pane is updated (but the end point shown there is still as 88199.
Slice Mapper not refreshed
Finally, I changed the Start position by clicking in the sample view in Start and End Point, but the Slice Mapper pane is not updated (until the window is refreshed. [Problem in v1.3.0 too]

As far as I can tell the samples and loops and slices play correctly, but these issues make editing them to get what I am aiming for difficult.
Jørgen. I can email you screenshots of these problems and the sample itself if it would help.

So, 41 views and no replies (I always promised myself I would not write one of these "sniffs"
)
Anyway,
- either, I have got it all wrong and no-one wants to tell me (unklikely)
- or, I have got a dodgy .exe file (also unlikely)
- or, no-one had the energy and dedication to read through the problems i described (quite possible)
- or, no-one has used these areas of the Sampler (quite possible, too).
All you eXT samplists, where are you when I need you?
I live in hope.
