ModeAudio has released Apex - Serum Arp Presets, 50 royalty-free .fxp presets inspired by the classic 'Arp' function found on many vintage analog synths, with each sound playable with just a single key on a MIDI keyboard or piano roll.
The 20 arp presets at the core of this collection span cascading major sequences to suspenseful minor patterns, processed in resonant reverb and delay to give the classic, wavering tones of the analog era.
Alongside the arps is a choice of 30 deep basses, rich, pulsating pads, vibrant synth leads and shimmering SFX, built from 45 custom wavetables.
Also included are 15 LFO shapes and 50 key and tempo-labelled MIDI patterns, as well as all 4 macro controls coming pre-assigned for each patch:
