Overloud has announced the release of its first rig library completely dedicated to bass for use in the software amp and FX suite TH-U.
Bass Rigs Vol. 1 includes 39 rigs created from a variety of distinguished bass amplifiers which are then loaded from TH-U's integrated Rig Player.
The Rig Player is an important feature of TH-U, and is able to reproduce nuances of sampled rigs. For example, Bass Rigs Vol. 1 includes sampled bass amplifiers from successful manufacturers such as Aguilar, Ashdown, Darkglass, Noble, Portaflex, Swr, and Trace Elliot.
After installing Bass Rigs Vol. 1 users can then load TH-U as a DAW plug-in, or as a standalone, and then play their bass through these amps just as they were captured; with multiple settings, different speakers, and different mic configurations to get the most thundering tones out of each setup.
In addition, Bass Rigs Vol. 1 introduces six effects ideal for bass tone creation:
- Bass Envelope (New for all versions of TH-U).
- Octaver (New for TH-U Editions).
- GEQ-LoFreq (New for TH-U Editions).
- D-Reverb (New for TH-U Editions).
- D-Delay (New for TH-U Editions).
- CHR-2 (New for TH-U Editions).
