A JSFX EQ plugin for REAPER that emulates the Pultec-style EQ curve of vintage low-end EQs by applying boost and cut in parallel. By using lower Q-factor values and parallel boost/cut processing, it gives that classic low-end enhancement without phase issues. It can be used for adding weight to kick drum or bass guitar, and shaping a muddy sub-bass. It features:

* Three Low-End EQ Modes: Two Pultec-style EQ modes plus a "HPF Q-Factor" mode:
1. Dual Shelf (Pultec-style): Uses shelf filters to boost and cut in parallel to create clean, weighty lows without phase artifacts.
2. Dual Shelf & HPF (Pultec-style): Adds a gentle high-pass filter before the shelves for enhancing clarity or tightening up sub-bass frequencies.
3. HPF Q-Factor: This utilizes a resonance-based approach to boosting lows. It's one of the experimental ways to boost your low end if you can find the sweet-spot frequency of your low end using the frequency slider.
* Channel Modes: Apply equalization in stereo, mid, or side modes to target specific elements of the input signal.
* Continuous Frequency Control: Unlike vintage passive EQs with fixed bands, you can freely adjust the frequency from 10Hz to 2000Hz.
* Independent Boost and Cut Controls: Independently control the boost (0-20 dB) and cut (0-20 dB) for accurate low-end tonal shaping.
* Dry/Wet Mix Control (0–100%): Blend your processed signal with the original dry signal for parallel processing.
* Output Gain (-30dB to +30dB): Sets the final output level of the plugin to compensate for volume changes.
* GUI Bypass Button: A smooth bypass button for toggling the EQ on or off without audio clicks. Available for automation as "Bypass (Smooth)" in the parameter list.
* Zipper-Noise-Free Operation: Advanced smoothing ensures no zipper noise during slider automation and real-time adjustments.
* Light on CPU.

If you want to use this JSFX plugin in other DAWs, you can do so using the open-source YSFX plugin.

YSFX is available in VST3, AU, and CLAP formats for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Download your preferred version of YSFX from here (Click on "Assets" for the downloads to appear):

YSFX comes in two versions:

* ysfx-s FX (for JSFX effects).

* ysfx-s instrument (for JSFX instruments).

1. Open ysfx-s FX in your DAW,

2. Then click "Load", find your "E-LowEndClassicEQ300_Windows-G" file, and click "Open."

The JSFX plugin will now run inside the YSFX host, working perfectly in any DAW that supports VST3, AU, or CLAP plugins.
