Update 2021: download link is broken. "kirnuarp.com" is online and well, but the "Kirnu 1" is no more (apparently, pulled mid 2015). There is only (paid, 35€) "Kirnu Cream" with a demo version. "Demo version functions just like the licensed version except it doesn't save presets." You can find v1.2.1 on archive, however "No presets yet they will be added soon". So, assuming the new demo version does save its state within the DAW project (I do not know) I guess one is better off with that anyways.
