Literal Sounds Labs

Literal Sounds Labs is an independent audio software project by Michel Figueiredo, creating experimental plugins for musicians, sound designers, composers and sonic artists.

The work explores the space between music technology, science, pattern systems and sound art. Each plugin is built around a distinct concept, from geomagnetic activity and quantum-inspired effects to Fibonacci structures, Morse code rhythm, image-to-audio translation and spatial sound movement.

Rather than making standard tools, Literal Sounds Labs focuses on unusual ways of generating, shaping and transforming sound.
