This is a plugin that I actually think is pretty fun to use and sounds just fine. For something free from a giveaway, I am not at all disappointed in it. The reason I gave this the rating I did was because of the price, a bug, and the size of the files themselves. The price is really high, and at that price you could get software with much more versatility. I am not really someone who views "analog sound" as something worth spending hundreds of dollars to achieve. The plugin also has a weird issue for me where it takes a really long time to respond to changes you made to the switches unless it is bridged. The VST3 would crash when trying to bridge it, so I was forced to use the VST2. It also takes up a huge amount of space. The installer is over 300MB, and I am not really sure how a plugin like this even with anti-piracy measures could take up that much space.
For something that was given away for free, issues like that are less impactful to me, but I imagine for someone who spent $125 dollars on it, they would be a very frustrating and disappointing thing to encounter. If you are considering this, I would recommend trying the demo before you buy it, and even then I couldn't recommend such a thing for the steep price unless your only reason for buying it was just because it looks fun to have.
