Sound Yeti

Ambition is what I'd call a "film score construction kit". It's evolving pads, textures, arps, and more can quickly lay the mood and groundwork for a score. Of course, it's not everything that you need to create a complete score (although I suppose it could be in some minimalist applications), but certainly a solid foundation to build on (recognizing that, for me, a score isn't a score without an orchestra). Hungry for more, I added on the Artifacts expansion pack for even more goodness. Like many great Kontakt libraries, the tweakability within Ambition allows for a great deal of tailoring of both of its A and B layers. With the addition of external FX, the sky's the limit. Since I fancy myself more of a composer than a sound designer, I enjoy the unique and inspirational sounds that Ambition offers out of the box -- sounds that I probably would never have thought of, or would spend way too long trying to create with other instruments.
