an entirely one-of-a-kind synth, does cymbals like nothing else i've heard (and that's just the start) - really pioneering stuff. donated and look forward to more from this developer.
anyone else getting GUI bugs?
Renoise 3.4.2 / Win10 is throwing this up:
Ouch. The VST3 plugin 'Uhhyou: ClangCymbal (from Uhhyou)' crashed in event, function or class: 'IPluginView', Thread: 'GUI'
IMPORTANT: This is a fatal error. Please save the current document under a !new! name to prevent losing important data. Renoise will silently ignore any following errors from this plug-in.
DO NOT IGNORE THIS ERROR; DO NOT CONTINUE USING THE PLUGIN. THIS CAN DESTROY YOUR SONG OR CAUSE OTHER RANDOM CRASHES AND PROBLEMS.
It's most likely that this is a bug in the VST3 plugin, so please also report this problem to the authors of this plugin in order to get the problem fixed.
EDIT - Thanks for the response Ryukau! I ensured the redistributable is up to date and unfortunately the problem persists. Interestingly the behaviour is similar to the problem described in Linux. It is reproducable by opening the and closing the GUI - the GUI loads OK 2 times then crashes on the 3rd open.
I experienced the same behaviour in FLStudio 10 however there are no issues with FLStudio 20.
I will keep an eye on the github - hopefully powerjungle's investigations bare fruit as your plugs are fantastic when I can get them running.

Hi, Jack.
ClangCymbal is working fine here with Renoise 3.4.2 (x64, demo version) on Windows 10.
Perhaps C++ Redistributable is missing on your system. Try installing 'vc_redist.x64.exe' (or 'vc_redist.x86.exe' if you are on 32-bit system) in following link.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-US/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170
For reference, this suggestion is based on a past discussion on the link below.

There's also a report that my plugins are not working with Renoise on Linux. I feel like it's not related to this issue, but just in case.

What a wonderful sound design tool. If you mess around can get some really interesting sounds here. From wonderful wood marimbas to deep metal bells, to hihats, to cymbals. Really interesting plugin! This developer (Takamitsu Endo) is amazing. Highly recommended.

Wonderful plugin! I am really enjoying all the drum sounds I can me made with it. Absolutely loving it. This is now in my "must download list" for friends. And, you could really use this to make your own unique drum kits.
Also, consider using it in a plugin chain with Airwindows IronOxide (free and opensource) or RC-20 Retro Color for some extra punch/grit. Huge thank you to the developer. I was having an issue installing and the developer went above and beyond to help. Thanks! :).

Amazing synth for unusual sounds, very experimental and the results are atonal sometimes, i love unconventional synths for FX and crazy soundscapes and CollidingCombSynth delivers.
Thank you for this gem.

This is top notch SFX synth with innovative algorithm. Absolute best for generating metallic creaky effects and absolute must have for experimental music and sound design. Quite a gem.

This is a very cool synth.
It sounds a bit like a mix of a DX7 and an Additive synth, though it dose not use either method to generate sound.
Very clean in a crystal kind of way, sounds good with chorus verb effects.
Tips:
1. This synth is CPU heavy so consider using arpeggios instead of chords.
2. Some controls are mapped to you QWERTY keyboard, so if you use you computer to play notes, the synth may change parameters instead. So, use a MIDI keyboard, or close the synth window before inputing QUERY notes.
One UI note, would it be possible to make the "Refresh Table" button MIDI mappable?

a little buggy but already really good and innovative. i especially like that the temposync stuff even goes for really small buffer sizes of the delay.
