Quick tipp for installing the skins as themes.
Tyrell User wrote:Just wanted to ask you if there is a way to put the skin in the "themes" folder instead of the data folder ? when I do this, it doesn't work .. but maybe there is a solution
Do you know how the authors of the other skins did it ?
By trial and error (do on own risk):

- Download the skin. Rename the folder "data" to the theme name - for example "90s skin - Blue edition".
- In the "scripts" subfolder delete all files except of the big one. Rename this to "TyrellN6.txt".
- Copy the folder to tyrell.data/Support/Themes/

Now you should see the themes selector when right-clicking into the GUI.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Regarding the main panel, do you mean the patch list window?
Ah, sorry, I mean the Synth panel, not the Presets list.

Right then, here's the background for the V3 version. I'm afraid my patience ran out when it came to sorting out the knobs :(
The knobs are in the zip file I posted a while ago if anyone's feeling brave!

Enjoy! :)

Anyway, so I will continue to work on my RM (remake) version.

Preview of V1.1 :

- Switchable theme
- New slider knob
- Changed the knob for the Env modifiers
- Small alignements
- ADSR labels

Look really promising. May I suggest that you change the little indicator dot in the knobs to white? It will make it much more visible. And, while we're at it, maybe change the middle strim in the fader handle from orange to white also. IMO, it fits better overall. And, the right noise dot should be pink, and not orange too. Again, IMO.

The red one? Hmm, this is because DIVA look. :)

The dot in DIVA changes accordingly with the LED colour. So, when the LED colour is yellow, the dot becomes yellow. If the LED is blue, the dot becomes blue. If it is white, becomes white...

If he changes the little indicator dot in the knobs to white (I agree it could be better on the eyes) then he has to make white sliders too... or make 2 versions, white and red so people could choose :tu:

I like this skin because of the alignment of the different sections and switchable theme ! nice work Chris !

That's why I edited my post later to also mention the sliders

A BIG THANK YOU Chris !!!!! DANKE !! :hail:

Hey Chris,

No problem with it here on the Linux version. However, it didn't show up as a theme in Tyrell, so I simply replaced the original Data directory with yours.

Add my voice to the praise chorus. Is there a donation box somewhere ?

Best,

Hi,
thanks for reporting the linux issue. Maybe themes are not yet supported for the linux version of Tyrell.

Donation-box: Not yet, but I'm planning to create a Tyrell-stuff page on my webspace including a donation box.
