Agreed.

Not only that, Urs is very well respected around these parts, so throwing shit at him isn't doing yourself any favors...
Even if Urs wasn't... this is not the way one „company“ should talk about others, even if u-he had some really bad shit happening behind their pristine facade
“Really bad shit” that’s verifiably factual is maybe an exception. The definition of “really bad shit” might need to be clear, though. There’s no need for some kind of arbitrary brotherhood of businesses. Not all businesses are evil. The ones that stand by ethical behavior should not tolerate those that do the opposite.
Hehehe, continue the slippery slope, get closer to the truth: Our shit is really bad ass :clown:

Also: People raising doubts about developers using GA? - Fine. Doing so on a forum that uses the whole package of Google's tracking and ad services? :dog:
Just in case it needs to be said: I was making no comment about any developer. I was just talking about business in general, responding to the notion that businesses should have some kind of brotherhood of silence/respect regardless. No implications of any kind about any business were intended to be inferred by my commentary.

All good, I was just referring to the grand scheme of things.

The underlying issue of what kind of criticism developers may or may not voice among each other is a whole different thing though - which I wouldn't wish to discuss it in the context of this thread. Happy to do so in our company forum though, if anyone's interested in my opinion, or if they want theirs heard.

I would like to take this time to apologize for anything bad and/or questionable I may do in the future. I am not saying that I will mind you, but if I do... at least I am now, for the most part, released of any further obligations and protected from any and all possible retaliations rising from or pertaining to said incidents. I would also like to thank you for your complete and total understanding in this matter.

Firebid did not sell good. The reason is that most people thought that it is a one-trick-pony because of the simple interface.
The plugin especiallytthe gui would require a complete rewrite. The effect and some dsp stuff is also outdated and doesn't sound as good as the current algorithms

Firebird was awefully nice to patch though, still amazes me what kind of sounds I got out of it.

...and for those who haven't seen (or heard from) me in a while a big hello! :hyper:

Tell me about it.. Wish I still had my old DnB tracks, using mostly firebird. Tracks weren't too great but those sounds were somewhat unique and pretty difficult to make with other synths.
