There’s no need for some kind of arbitrary brotherhood of businesses. Not all businesses are evil. The ones that stand by ethical behavior should not tolerate those that do the opposite.

The underlying issue of what kind of criticism developers may or may not voice among each other is a whole different thing though - which I wouldn't wish to discuss it in the context of this thread. tbh, i dont remember it.

Firebid did not sell good. The reason is that most people thought that it is a one-trick-pony because of the simple interface.
The plugin especiallytthe gui would require a complete rewrite. The effect and some dsp stuff is also outdated and doesn't sound as good as the current algorithms

Tell me about it.. Wish I still had my old DnB tracks, using mostly firebird. Tracks weren't too great but those sounds were somewhat unique and pretty difficult to make with other synths.
