If that's what you want to take out of it. Interpretation is an open book with blank pages, and assumptions a very uncertain branching road. Neither one of you was addressed, no one specifically targeted, and where you take 'mean spirited' from is beyond me.

I said what I said, and stand by that. Nothing less, nothing more. I never excluded my own opinions when stating 'this is just kvr', in the event you're wondering.

Not that any of this matters, but perhaps its better not to leave things to assumptions alone.

The demo is crashing for me:
System Win7 x64
Hosts: Reaper 32-bit, wavosaur 32-bit

Crashes reaper when loading the plugin
Wavosaur only shows part of the GUI - most knobs are missing, then eventually crashes.

Any suggestions?
Thanks for testing
This is an issue of the installer on windows 7 that I'm currently fixing.
You just have to allow write permission to the install directory
(../XILS_lab/PolyKB, by default c:/Program Files)

..where, just like the rest of the world, people have diff opinions
.. where, just like the rest of the world, each community have overall character (you decide is it bad/wrong/decent or just meh) which is "scored" through individuals

Yeah the default gui is too big for me also I agree BUT ........

........ With the preferences you can switch to a smaller Gui, wich was my very first request for the PolyKB, and it was a divine surprise to see that XilsLab were very responsive and FAST for this request.

LtZ
Of course, the ability to switch to a smaller GUI is only useful if you can actually get to the menu control to switch to the smaller gui. This menu control is on the far right of the menu bar.

Most VSTi hosts orient the VSTi plug by the top-left corner, and truncate everything at the rightmost window extent of the host. So for me, I can't even get to the menu on the right side.

Request: Can you please move this menu item to a menu on the left of the menu bar?

Thanks, Regards,
Kevin L

Had some Elicenser problems but after few tries and pressing the recover button it works now. Absolutely awesome synth!

I just heard this Synth for the first time. Someone could have warned me.. Holy mother! I must say, this is the first VST synth that *really* sounds like old analog gear to me. It has a full rich warm sound on its own.
The turnoff is the CPU, it certainly likes it, loves it, requires it.
Still, I have to get this one some time soon.

I've really enjoyed working with the PolyKB demo and love
the sound of it's oscillators and filters. I had hoped to
purchase it long before now, but even with the returning
customer discount it is out of my price range. Is there
any chance of a "no brainer" type introductory offer which
can later be applied to the full version. This is how I
got into the XILS 3 and I have been very happy with it as
well.
Cheers,
Scott
