Lissajous Ableton Live Version (M4L Version)

There is now a wonderful M4L version which works directly with Ableton Live. Users will be able to use Lissajous within their projects, and to midi map all of its parameters.

So for us, who bought standalone Lissajous months ago, no free update to access the M4L version? Or at least a special offer or deal to the already owners of the software?

Software pricing is based upon workload to produce. The M4L version took longer to produce than the standalone version.

I just want a wav/mp3 audio-only option in the codecs of the standalone version, please.
Wav (or aif, non-compressed, non-lossy) especially. Is that possible?

Hi pottering - that is not an option we are working on at the moment.

There is a discount of £15 for current owners who have also had access to the standalone prior to this purchase.

Lissajous is a real-time audio reactive graphics application (available as Standalone or MaxForLive) built in Max/MSP and inspired by the work of Jules Antoine Lissajous.

The media project is born with the purpose of investigating the relationship between sound and vision, chaos and order, closely related to astronomy, mathematics & physics. It explores the field of harmony and disorder and let the user dip into an elegant, dreamlike, minimalistic yet chaotic space which reflects the complex rules of the universe in all its abstract beauty.

The software shows sound oscillations as XY matrix functions and creates complex graphics curves. Lissajous graphically describes sound and allow observation of constantly varying signal voltage of two audio signals as function of time. Video generated by sound can be controlled in endless ways by giving to the user the possibility of a whole-new range of interactions.

Operating System: PC Windows or Mac computer (not ipad or iphone).

Lissajous comes in two forms:

L-Scope - ableton live

L-Scope is a real-time audio visualizer that works within M4L and acts like an oscilloscope in XY mode and reacts with any given audio input signal.

In this release the user can interact with the following parameters:

[Zoom] to control the zoom in and out of the rendering. Change the [Framesize] to draw from 10 to 3072 points in time of the audio functions.

Other interesting and useful video controls are the [Shadow Trail], which controls the trail of the previous frame, the [Line Width] which controls the size of the lines and the [Drawing Style] which sets the style of the drawings (Points, Lines, Line Strip, Triangles).

[Rec|Stop] to start or stop a new recording. It’s possible to choose between different codecs (animation, raw, jpeg, bmp, mjpega, mjpegb, gif, video, graphics, dvpal, flc, png, tiff, mpeg4, targa) and quality methods (max, high, normal, lossless, min, low)

Lissajous and L-Scope are now available as a colour edition. It's great to see the visualisations atyt people are making - now in colour.

They are also compatible with the latest Apple M1 processor.
