The download file still says 3.04. Is it actually 3.4?

The official version is "3.4". Specific file names use "04" to make room for digits greater than 9 such as 3.12.
Also, I forgot to mention Trance Warehouse Volume II has also been released.

Updated and AVX is not detected for my AMD Ryzen CPU (it used to be, but required a separate download).

If any other Vector users completely forgot (like me!) where the link is to grab the latest update remember that you can grab it from the application itself by going into the Config/Settings cog and click the check for updates button.

That's correct, you can get your download link from the settings update page.

I'm very happy with the latest 3.4 upgrade, although I thought I broke something for a minute after inadvertantly rongklicking the gui-skins-selector button...but that's how I roll
As usual, this version behaves well, with better speed, new features, and more control. I think the gui designer will be a big plus, for those who love or need custom visuals.
I also bought the Trance Warehouse 2 soundset, and although I've only had time to preview the first 60 out of 205 sounds, it's far exceeded my customer happiness baseline of 5% useful sounds. The Ark Angels, Kawai Pianos, sundry Strings, and many sequenced sounds are a delight, and the reverb/chorus have that high-end metallic patina I expect from U-he releases. With a lot of 'airy' goodness on many sounds.
The Dusty Hook, Beehive, and Double stabs are early favorites, soon to meet up with the UNO hardware arpeggiator.
This synth is a great bargain, with a version for every budget and skillset, and the many commercial sounds offer great variety.
Cheers

I just got it, so I'm still getting familiar with it. I'm enjoying it so far though and have come up with a few different approaches to making sounds than I usually do, thanks to how the synth is designed

I have that same story. I find myself missing some of the Fathom workflow if I am using a static architecture or even full modular.
