the Mac build is still in its infancy. i hope they figure out why you can't see 3rd party WT's

You can - they just go in a different place:

\Users\username\Library\Application Support\Surge\wavetables

ok, i didn't know that. but I still think that since the folders are created by the installation process, it might be something that should be fixed so that new users don't have to manually make the change in the future.

Yeah, that's what I was trying but getting no result. Then I tried it today, following your post, and... indeed the wavetables appear. Odd. I guess I must have installed a newer build at some point without testing, but I sure don't remember doing that.

Hi !

I´m just looking into Surge and I can´t understand how the installation progress works.
I read the README script provided in the download, it suggested using Innoscript to build an installer.
I did that and ran the program, however I got to an error message saying that the Surge.dll file does not exist. What does that mean and how can I install it to use in my DAW?
As a newcomer to all of this from VST´s to Basic Computer science I would appreciate every help
I can get.

The installers are available here, ready to go. Just run the installer and direct the installer to your plugin path used by your DAW.

this is a big +1 but too late for me as i'm stuck using v1.5 using winxp x32, i know, i know....
so any FX modulations i do are through external FX

amused has confirmed that the mac build does pick up the
.wav files in the drop menu, but refuses to actually load and use them.
hopefully they will implement that ability in new updates across all the platforms.
as i believe they also lack that ability.
