It's kind light on the CPU. And it's kinda scooped in the mids (as several soft synths are). I had to put SlickEQ to compensate, but it sounds fine now.

I just demo'd the thing. Good synth, but, frankly, nothing in there which is particularly special. I would say: Good solid synth which doesn't blow up your CPU.

I think the Sylenth1 comparison isn't too far stretched. It reminds me a bit off it, with better resonant behavior (i hate that Sylenth1 ducks the volume, and tends to whistle so much, when you crank up the resonance hard).

For the price, i think it's a nice synth. Even sounds lovely with a bit of NI's choral and some delay.

Like Predator 2 and other Rob Papen synths.

His synths kinda has similar character. Like there is some special Rob papen "sauce" on top on every synth master that makes them sound eh kinda same. Its also a bit similar case with his FX. Not that its a bad thing or anything, but it limits his products in my eyes.

Yeah, you're right. I was thinking about U-he and XILS just after I posted. All of them have its own sound. Although some are stronger than others.

Noooo, not uhe, their synths all sound different from each other.
