Cannot locate VG or VG EE samples after installing on 2.5GHZ

does anyone use Virtual Guitar /EE in GarageBand2
or for that matter any DAW like cubase.
i used it in GB1 on my 1.8GHZ and all was fine
now im on GB2 i reinstalled all the samples from the original onto the 2.5GHZ from the original
CD and if i go to GB details and generator i see the
VST names like groove agent and virtual Guitar EE but if i click on them i get
error code-1 was returned by the core audio driver.
and failed to initialize the plug in!
before this i was getting the VG EE app up ( the actual graphical representation of the application )ino other words it was loading onto the screen but no content was in it. It said cant find content or has no content. This "VG set content folder" is still looming its presence.
Does anyone know about this?
in short i installed VG and VG EE on a G5 2.5GHZ and whereas it worked before in garageband 1 now it cant find the audio plug ins
what to do
