I came across an article where they claim that studio monitors are the best, they say, speakers with a built-in amplifier can never play like professional.Partly I agree with them, I myself use Dynaudio LYD 7 and their sound is really clear, but 100% there are conventional systems with an approximate sound.
What do u think?

i think the author is factually wrong, in the first sentence after his intro already:

Granted, passive studio monitors are not popular anymore, but this shows the amount of gross generalizations he's prepared to ventilate.
