I really like the demos for both the MRotary and MVintage rotary plugs, but I can't figure out any way to make the rotors stop. Original leslies didn't even have a slow speed, there was simply stop and fast and a lot of hammonds I've used over the years have a 3 way switch so that I can have slow, fast or stop because the stop position is really useful. Simply bypassing the plug in isn't the same thing since all the amp sim and cabinet simulations disappear. It doesn't even appear that I can set the speed of the rotors to full stop. They still move very slowly at the lowest setting.

So, am I missing something? This is kind of a deal breaker for me because I really use this feature a lot and I imagine it's got to be dead simple to add if it's missing.

BTW, I just recently became aware of your plug ins, bought the multi band granulator and am really impressed with your entire system. These things are like little applications and are ridiculously powerful. I thought there was a mistake when I saw how big the manual was! There's some crazy stuff in there that I'll probably never use, but the good news is that everything sounds good even if I decide to ignore all the extra capabilities (which is almost impossible to do. I've already put those modulators to good use). I'm sure some people will complain about the complexity of the system, but I never mind learning a versatile system like this when I know it carries over to other products. I learn it once and I can apply it to all of your plug ins. I wish other software developers could understand this basic concept. Great work!

Thank you! The good thing is that the general system is the same, so once you master one plugin, you master them all ;).

About stop - well, I'm afraid we have denied this, for several reasons (that would be a long conversation :) ). But as you found out - you can control the speed manually - say you set it to high speed and then use a multiparameter to control the high speed rate. Of course it will never really stop, but with the minimum 0.1Hz it will rotate once per 10 seconds, that should be way enough.

Thanks for your reply. I don't want to sound like I'm complaining, but I have to say that even slow movement is noticeably different from complete stop. I'm getting the impression from your reply, though, that maybe a complete stop might be difficult. Having had a lot of experience with real Leslies, I have to admit that it's a shame that a plug in that's so otherwise well modeled and even has capabilities far beyond a Leslie, is missing this basic feature. Maybe this will appear in an update someday?

Understand. Though I must say I absolutely hate the sound of it stopped, it's just some form of reverbed phasing... We could theoretically slower the minimum speed, but that would be a problem with backward compatiblility, so right it's not planned really I'm afraid.
