Everytime I try to export an audio track within Ableton, MDelay and MFreqShifter's automation lights up the "re-enable automation' button at the top and greys out/disables automations. So essentially i cannot use the automation paramaters with these 2 VSTs when exporting. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Well it's a known bug. Hopefully it will be fixed at some point.
It happens to me if i double press stop (to skip back to the beginning of the track)
Not sure about exporting though, I'll take a look for you.

its very game breaking for me. I can't use like 4 plugins because of it :(
And yes, it's happening with exporting.

You are right, I had no idea it was this bad! We cant even freeze tracks.
Vojtech is in talks with Ableton and hopefully making progress with it.

Any update on this?

yup i tried freezing and it still screws up, I can't even export my entire production now. Not sure what the hell to do. lol.

OK, so I have a workaround:

Insert an audio track and set it's input as master (post mixer).
Then arm the track and record your entire song onto it.
Now right click on the clip and click show in explorer, from there you can save and rename a copy.

Thank you!!! I'll try this tomorrow.

I'd recommend reporting this to Ableton. They said they know about, that it happens to various plugins, but for some crazy reason it's not high-priority...

Even when I PLAY the tracks, it resets the automation. So recording on a seperate track did not work for me :(

It works for me. What version of Live are you using? I will work it out for you.

Everthings on the latest updates (melda and live). Windows. Most specifically when I use an automation for frequency shifter on MFreqShifter, it'll gray out the automation upon playing it.

Try this test project out. Playback works fine here. Let me know what happens.
